Our core technical team is actively engaged in a variety of technical projects, including software development and the ongoing maintenance and optimization of our server infrastructure.

Mallar Chakravarty, PhD
Principal InvestigatorMallar is the principal investigator responsible for the Douglas Neuroinformatics Platform. He has a background in engineering and neuroscience.

Gabriel Devenyi, PhD
Project LeadGabriel holds a PhD in Engineering Physics and has extensive knowledge of Linux system administration. He leads the Douglas Neuroinformatics Platform, architecting its software, platforms, and infrastructure.

Joshua Unrau
Lead DeveloperJoshua is an experienced full-stack developer who leads the development of Open Data Capture. He also oversees and supports our other software projects.

Thomas Beaudry
System AdministratorTom works alongside Gabriel to maintain our core computing platform, including both scientific software and physical infrastructure. He is also responsible for deploying the Douglas Data Capture Platform.

Weijie Tan
Junior DeveloperWeijie is junior developer primarily working on the Douglas Data Bank project. He has developed multiple instruments and contributed to shared libraries used by Open Data Capture.

David Roper
Junior DeveloperDavid focuses on enhancing features of Open Data Capture for animal researchers. Through his work on MouseODC, he has made substantial contributions to the development of Open Data Capture.

Cian Monnin
Junior DeveloperCian is currently working on implementing object storage within Open Data Capture. In the future, this will be used for new instrument modalities, such as brain imaging data.
Program Coordinators
As part of the Douglas Data and Digital Science for Mental Health Initiative (D3SM), we also work closely with several program coordinators.

Program CoordinatorVanessa is a program coordinator for the D3SM Initiative, where she plays a vital role in facilitating communication between the DNP and other initiatives at the Douglas and throughout Quebec.

Program CoordinatorGowree serves as a program coordinator for the D3SM Initiative, where she plays a key role in advancing the Open Data Capture project, primarily in collaboration with the Alliance en santé mentale du Québec.
